Improving health and wellbeing

Helping people stay healthy and happy at work.

Employee wellbeing

At Aire Logic, we prioritise the wellbeing of our employees and client staff, ensuring a supportive and healthy work environment. Currently, 6.2% of our time is dedicated to health and wellbeing so we can make practical, staff-led improvements.

Mental health at work

Our mental health plan is based on the ISO30415 and the Government’s ‘Thriving at Work’ standards. It ensures all colleagues know where to find support and can openly discuss mental wellbeing.

Mental health first aiders

Our HR team and colleagues are trained Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) to offer support when needed. They help spot early signs of mental health challenges, provide nonjudgmental support, and reduce stigma.

Finding purpose in work

We’ve adapted the Japanese Ikigai philosophy for workplace wellbeing, shaping policies, staff handbooks and appraisals – helping employees find purpose, balance and fulfilment.

Physical wellbeing

We invest in employee fitness by offering the benefits of doing weekly yoga, subsidising football, climbing, cycling and running, and providing free gym access in our Manchester office.

Wellbeing support channels

We foster a supportive community through dedicated internal channels, including:

  • #mh-wellbeing – mental health discussions and resources
  • #allthingswomenshealth – women’s health topics
  • #cyclingchat – encouraging an active lifestyle
  • #art-and-craft – creative outlets for relaxation

Health and wellbeing 24/7 helpline

Employees and their covered family members can access our Employee Assistance Programme through WPA. This includes confidential support from trained counsellors and up to 20 free therapy sessions per employee.

Research-driven wellbeing

We continuously research workforce wellbeing, partnering with experts like Northpoint Wellbeing. Our studies on hybrid working and menopause have led to new workplace policies, improving support and inclusion.

Monitoring wellbeing

We use recognised frameworks, including the Warwick Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale (WEMWBS) and the Voluntary Reporting Framework, to measure and improve employee wellbeing and regularly survey staff.

Flexible working hours

Work-life balance is fundamental to our culture. Our flexible and hybrid working approach continues to evolve based on employee feedback, optimising wellbeing and productivity.
